Style is the New Black

I created this blog because I want to inspire, document, and explain (to the extent that it can be…) personal style, a facet of self expression that’s much more powerful than trendiness. I will keep ya’ll up to date on the collections, trends I see in New York, and of course, I’ll document individual characters for their impeccable taste. I am always open to suggestion, so if you or someone you know deserves to be recognized for their contribution to style, I’d love to hear about it.

I’m a freelance writer based in Brooklyn, and it’s by and large my favorite place to live. I enjoy reading magazines, books, writing, playing guitar and drawing.
