Remember my post about that seemingly pointless Whatisthenewblack.tv ad? Turns out it’s for a new fashion reality show on Bravo, creatively titled “The Fashion Show.” Hosted by Kelly Rowland and Isaac Mizrahi, (weird and unlikely duo?) the show is a competition among 15 designers who’ll be judged by the hosts and Fern Mallis, fashion week coordinator and president of IMG fashion. Sounds to me like this is Bravo’s attempt at filling Project Runway’s place. Well, Bravo, if you’re reading this, NOTHING can ever replace Project Runway. I don’t even want to think about how it now lives on Lifetime and will never have the same edgy quality it once had. Nope. Not doing it. I’ll give you a picture of the hosts instead. Kelly does look good in that dress – but what are her fashion credentials? Shouldn’t her stylist have the opportunity to host alongside Mizrahi? At least then it would be a little more authentic. *Sigh* Why has the fashion industry become such a huge sellout?

wait, so this sounds like a terrible idea.
Bravo, why the hell did you sell PR if you were just going to try to replace it with crap? Because this really does sound like crap…

I think this is going to be a really good show. Bravo has something to prove. Anyone playing the game for it?
